	WUN Training Event a Great Success » Monday, 4 July 2011 The results are in from 42 of the 58 participants attending the WUN Training Event in the Dominican Republic June 12th-17th. The overall safisfaction rate was a very respectable 8.5 out of 10. Some 20 of the participants rated their experience as either a 9 or 10. More importantly participants contracted with each other to take some collective action to help promote YMCA initiatives in education. One promising idea is to "create a digital media training conference for youth at the YMCA Mexico University. Gwenael Apollon summed it up by saying it was the best and most efficient program he had attended in the last 10 years. Our thanks to the staff and volunteers of the DR and NY YMCA for all their assistance. Our next conference is to be in Madrid, Spain July 29th-August 2nd,2012. Read More »
